The 1.6 million acre Bitterroot National Forest is part of the Northern Rocky Mountains. National Forest land begins above the foothills of the Bitterroot River Valley in two mountain ranges--the Bitterroot Mountains on the west and the Sapphire Mountains on the east side of the valley. This juried arts and crafts show features some of the Northwest's best artists and craftspeople. Peruse displays of jewelry, photography, sculpture, weaving, wooden toys, handmade furniture, stained glass, glass beads, and pottery. Come listen to the harp music and enjoy all the entertainers. International Wildlife Film Festival
The wildest film stars in the world are in Missoula at the 29th annual International Wildlife Film Festival (IWFF). The theme this year is ‘People & Nature: Living in Harmony'. Top winners of the film competition are showcased at public screenings all week, including matinees at the historic Wilma Theatre. Additional events include seminars and panel discussions, workshops, Children's Day, Wild Walk Parade and kids wildlife art displays. Woolly, wild and wiggly is the theme of the Wild Walk Parade.
Hamilton Wine Tasting Festival
The Hamilton Wine Tasting Festival is a semi-formal event where participants taste a vast variety of wines and sample hors d'oeuvres. Hamilton is a short drive from our Log home. An elegant and fun evening. Everyone has a great time tasting, sampling and visiting with new-found friends. There is also a silent auction held at the event!

Bitterroot Bluegrass Festival
A pickers festival! The Northern Rocky Mountain region will bring various professional groups and from the Bitterroot Valley, we are proud to present several local groups. The Festival will present the very popular ‘Instrument Workshops’ for banjos, guitars, fiddles, mandolins and upright bass on Saturday morning starting at 10:00am. Gospel bluegrass and a variety of arts and crafts vendors as well as a great selection of various food vendors.
